Middletown Police Blotter: Dec. 7 - 19

The following information was released by the Middletown Police Dept. on Dec. 19. Those arrested were released pending a court date unless otherwise indicated.

Dec. 7: William Welch, 34, of Chapman Terrace in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Bumbico for possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child. He was held on $22,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Dec. 8: Angel Vallone, 36, of Carter Ave. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Keith Hirschbein for simple assault.

Roger Smith, 53, of Ninth St. in Belford was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Bumbico for driving while intoxicated.

Dec. 10: Jeron Redway, 25, of Willow Drive in Ocean was arrested by Ptl. James Beirne for obstructing an investigation and on contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown and Red Bank Municipal Courts and the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $27,150 bail. 

JD Rockafellow, 23, of 34 ½ South Ave. in Atlantic Highlands was arrested by Ptl. Christian Clark for disorderly conduct.

Dec. 11: Levys Sotomayor, 30, of Monmouth Parkway in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Charles Higgins for simple assault, obstructing the administration of law and on contempt of court warrant issued by the Keansburg and Tinton Falls Municipal Court and the Ocean County Superior Court. He was held on $6,651 bail. 

Dec. 14: April Bokay, 21, of Walnut St. in Port Monmouth was arrested on Dec. 14 by Ptl. Brady Carr for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Eatontown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $600 bail. 

Avery Jackson, 25, of Firth St. in Jamaica, NY, arrested on Dec. 14 by Cpl. Cliff O’Hara for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, identity theft and theft. He was held on $230,000 bail set by Judge Francis Vernoia of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Melvin Clarida, 25, of 123rd St. in Queens, NY, arrested on Dec. 14 by Cpl. Gerald Weimer for theft, conspiracy, criminal attempt and identity theft. He was held on $230,000 bail set by Judge Francis Vernoia of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Dec. 16: Brandon Ozelas, 18, of Campbell Ave. in Belford was arrested on Dec. 16 by Ptl. Robert Shannon for simple assault.

Dec. 17: Det. Best arrested a 13 year-old male juvenile from Middletown was arrested for unannounced videotaping.

Dec. 17: Kenneth White, 21, of Richard Terrace in Red Bank was arrested on Dec. 17 by Ptl. Nicholas Fenezia for simple assault. He was released on his own recognizance.

Karl Dorau, 51, of Linden Ave. in Highlands was arrested on Dec. 17 by Sgt. John Werner for violation of a court order. He was released after posting $5,000.00 set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Dec. 18: Rachel Sawyer, 24, of Kimberly Court in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Richard Belmonte for shoplifting from the Kohls Store.

Dominick Bongiorno, 62, of Greentree Terrace in Lincroft was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Gigante for violation of a court order. He was released on his own recognizance 

Dec. 19: Ashley Quellman, 22 from Ocean Ave. in Middletown was arrested on Dec. 19 by Ptl. Stephen Greenwood for driving while intoxicated.

Contempt of Court

Dec. 8: Luke Jacobs, 18, of Mountain St. in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Andrew Micalizzi on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Oceanport Municipal Court. He was held on $2,500 bail. 

Dec 10: Erika Leonardi, 35, of Tarpon Drive in Wall was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Dellatacoma on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $1,000 bail.

Violetta Borovaya, 22, of Scenic Drive in Highlands was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $2,500 bail. 

Dec. 12: Tara Murphy, 38, of Cherry St. in Iselin was arrested on Dec. 12 by Corporal George Freibott on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was held on $500 bail.

Kiernan Kelly, 24, of Poricy Lane in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Donald Coates on contempt of court warrants issued by the Sea Bright and Rumson Municipal Court. He was released after posting $364 bail.

Christina Marraccini, 24, of Bowne Road in Locust was arrested by Ptl. Richard Belmonte on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Freehold Municipal Court. She was released after posting $350 bail.

Jennifer Smith, 34, of Hudson Ave. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Albert Scott on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $1,000 bail.

Thomas Emerson, 34, of Hudson Ave. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Albert Scott on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. He was released after posting $435 bail.

Dec. 13: Patrick Davis, 46, of 6th Ave. in Asbury Park was arrested by Ptl. John Mele on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Asbury Municipal Court. He was held on $101 bail.

Dec. 14: Christopher Rosado, 24, of Standish Drive in Howell was arrested by Ptl. Charles Higgins on contempt of court warrants issued by the South Brunswick, Seaside Heights, Marlboro and Wall Municipal Courts. He was held on $2,850 bail.

Edward Conte, 18, of Cherry Tree Farm Road in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Christian Clark on contempt of court warrant issued by the Red Bank Municipal Court. He was released after posting $120 bail.

Kevin Allen, 29, of Powell Ave. in Atlantic Highlands was arrested by Ptl. Christian Clark on contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $1,000.

Dec. 15: Kathleen McAlister, 31, of Garden Drive in Ocean was arrested by Ptl. Charles Higgins on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Ocean Municipal Court. She was released after posting $190 bail.

Dec. 18: Tariq Wright, 34, of Grand Ave. in East Orange was arrested on Dec. 18 by Ptl. Stephen Greenwood on contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $2,500 bail.
