Middletown Police Blotter Sept. 12 - 24

Arrests for alleged possession of marijuana arrests, non-support, theft and disorderly conduct.

 The following information was released by the Middletown Police Dept on Sept. 24, 2012. An arrest is not a conviction. All were released pending a court date unless otherwise indicated. 

On Sept. 12 Ptl. Charles Higgins arrested a 16 year-old female from Port Monmouth for Criminal Mischief. 

Brent Stebbins, 26, Central Place in Belford was arrested on Sept. 13 by Ptl. Charles Higgins and charged with making terroristic threats. He was held on $10,000 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Robert Dunn, 48, from Highway 36 in Belford, was arrested on Sept. 15 by Ptl. Nicholas Fenezia and charged with obstructing the administration of law. 

Lauren Watson, 21, from Pine Hurst Ave. in Port Monmouth was arrested on Sept. 15 by Cpl. Thomas Meckier and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a narcotic.

Robert Backovsky, 22, from Pinehurst Ave. in Port Monmouth was arrested on Sept. 15 by Cpl. Thomas Meckier and charged with possession of steroids. He was held on $10,000 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Peter Salazar, 54, from Cherry Tree Lane in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 16 by Ptl. Lawrence Seymour and charged with maintaining a nuisance. He was released pending a court date.

William Coffey, 30, from Leonardville Rd. in Leonardo was arrested on Sept. 17 by Cpl. Gerald Weimer and charged with disorderly conduct. 

Andrew Gill, 18, from Cherry Tree Lane in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 17 by Ptl. James Beirne of the Quality of Life Unit and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. 

Tessa Cayce, 18, from Bray Ave. in Port Monmouth was arrested on Sept. 19 by Ptl. John Mele and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. 

James Materano, 21, from Melrose Terrace in Middletown was arrested on Sept. 18 by Ptl. Stephen Keller and charged with receiving stolen property and obstructing the administration of law. 

Dina Totaro, 44, from Middletown Lincroft Rd. in Middletown was arrested on Sept. 23 by Ptl. John Mele and charged with driving while intoxicated. 

Jason Claridge, 33, from Monmouth Parkway in Middletown was arrested on Sept. 23 by Ptl. Robert Shannon and charged with neglect of a child. 

Shannon Santos, 24, from Wood Street in Port Monmouth, was arrested on Sept. 23 by Ptl. Christian Clark and charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe. 

Matthew Reck, 29, from Surrey Lane in Tinton Falls, was arrested on Sept. 22 by Ptl. Ian and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. 

Robert Fairhurst, 43, from Hutchinson Drive in Port Monmouth was arrested on Sept. 22 by Ptl. Brian McGrogan and charged with simple assault. 

On Sept. 19 Ptl. Darrin Simon arrested a 13 year-old male juvenile from Port Monmouth and charged him with theft and burglary. 

William Hoffman, 28, from Gillespie Ave. in Fair Haven was arrested on Sept. 24 by Ptl. Brady Carr and charged with possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to distribute. He was held on $27,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Thompson.

David Goldstein, 61, from Beaman Boulevard in Atlantic Highlands was arrested on Sept. 20 by Ptl. Frank Mazza on a non-support warrant issued by the Middlesex County Superior Court. He was held on $18,000 bail.
