Middletown Police: Gun, Knife & Drugs Confiscated from Man

Police say he was in possession of cocaine and molly.

A Keansburg man is facing several charges after police allegedly found him to be in possession of a handgun, knife and drugs in Middletown on Sept. 2. 

Police say Travis Erickson, 23, had a 9mm Beretta semi-automatic handgun but no gun permit and a "combat-style" knife with a blade just under six inches long, according to court documents. He was also allegedly in possession of cocaine and methylenedioxymethamphetamine, which is known as MDMA or molly.

He was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a weapon, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park, possession of MDMA and possession of MDMA with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park.

Bail was set at $60,000 with no ten percent cash option.
