Middletown Woman Accused of Theft at Kohl's

Police say she was under orders to stay away from the Kohl's store in Holmdel.

A 35-year old Middletown woman, who allegedly flouted orders to stay out of Kohl's in Holmdel after a prior shoplifting incident, was charged Thursday by Holmdel Police with shoplifting again.

Holly S. Moyer of Hialeah Ave. in Middletown is facing accusations that she tried to steal away with more than $501.49 worth of jewelry, lingerie and sandals from the Union Avenue store on July 10, by hiding the items in her purse and on her person.
The charge of re-entering Kohl's is considered a petty disorderly persons offense.

The shoplifting charge is considered a third-degree crime.

Moyer is being held at the county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, no ten percent option.

According to Sheriff Dept. records on APP.com's Data Universe, Moyer is also being held on $750 bail out of Aberdeen on charges of possession of a hypodermic syringe on July 18, 2013.
