Neighborhood Fight in Keansburg Ends With Multiple Arrests
Police arrest 6 adults, and are looking for a seventh who fled the scene.
Six people were arrested Monday morning in connection to large fight on Seeley Avenue that involved family members.
A seventh person, who also allegedly took part, is being sought by police.
Keansburg Police received calls at 10:38 a.m. reporting a large fight in progress. Five adults were fighting with two other adults.

On one side were four residents of from the same Seeley Ave. address in Keansburg: John Faks, 63; Joseph Pontone, 23; John Edelman, 57 and Debra Edelman, 57. A fifth person, Alexandrea Burke, 20 of Waterwitch Ave. in Highlands, was also on their side.
On the other side was Thomas Pastor, 20 of Seeley Ave. and Thomas Bailey, 46, address unknown. Police are looking to apprehend him for his participation.

According to Deputy Chief Michael Pigott, the fight started between the people in their 20's: Joseph Pontone and Alexandrea Burke vs. Thomas Pastor. Family members got involved. Other then Bailey, who left the scene before police arrived, all six were arrested without incident and bought to headquarters.
All seven were charged with rioting, simple assault and disorderly conduct with the exception of Pontone who was also charged with throwing bodily fluids after he spit on one of the other defendants, police said.
The six who were arrested are currently at Keansburg Police Headquarters awaiting bail to be set. All six were treated at Hqs by MONOC BLS for cuts and bruises from the fight.
