On the Beat with Middletown Police: Arresting Update, July 6-7
The following reports were obtained directly from the Middletown Township Police Department. They do not indicate convictions.
Middletown police made the following arrests recently on various charges ...
• Anthony Valetta, 56, of First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on July 7 by Patrolman Ryan Riffert on the charge of violating a court order.
He was released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

• John Lytle, 28, of Fourth Street, Highlands, was arrested on July 6 by Cpl. Gerald Weimer on the charges of contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown and Keansburg municipal courts.
He was released after posting $1,900 bail.

• Tracey Drust, 40, of Seabreeze Avenue, Middletown, was arrested on July 6 by Patrolman Jason Caruso on the charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
She was held on bail.
• John Drust, 42, of John Street, Keansburg, was arrested on July 6 by Patrolman Jason Caruso on the charge of criminal mischief.
He was released pending a court date.
• On July 6 Detective Kimberly Best arrested a 17-year-old female, of Middletown, on the charge of a contempt of court warrant.
She was released to her parents pending a court date.
