Police: Pot Stash Found in Maguire's Grove Search

Middletown Police executed a search warrant at an apartment complex in Maguire’s Grove off Route 35 South, near the Union Square shopping center. 

Police arrested Joshua Lindner, 20, of Kimberly Court on Wednesday, charging him with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lindner was held on $25,000 bail with no 10% option set by Judge John Mullaney of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

The arrest was made by the Middletown Police Detective Bureau and Quality of Life Unit.

March 1: Alexis DeMatteo, 18, of Oakes Ave. in Belford was arrested by Ptl. Adam Vendetti and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

Ptl. Richard Raike arrested a 12 year-old male juvenile from Port Monmouth and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

Ptl. Anthony Gigante arrested a 16 year-old male juvenile from Red Bank and charged him with criminal mischief.

March 2: Gregory Kumm, 29, of Adams St. in Hoboken was arrested by Ptl. Ryan Riffert and charged him with disorderly conduct, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 3: Dennis Downey, 55, no current address, was arrested by Ptl. Michael Reuter and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest 

March 4: William Williams, 48, of Roop Ave. in Leonardo was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Hughes and charged with DWI.

Scott Orgonas, 47, of Park Drive in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Charles Higgins and charged with DWI. 

Det. Daniel Sullivan charged a 13 year-old male juvenile from Keansburg on a charge of using a stolen credit card. 

March 5: Ricardo Diaz, 60, of Jeryl St. in Eatontown was arrested by Ptl. Michael Pintilie and charged with DWI.

Jean Attis, 45, of Synder Ave. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. Joseph Ahlemeyer on a warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $5,000 bail.

Christopher Adams, 28, of Oleander Way in Clark was arrested by Ptl. Raymond Sofield and charged with DWI.

James Pitts, 46, of Cross Rd. in Matawan was arrested by Cpl. Robert McNair on a violation of parole warrant.

March 6: Edmund Fahoury, 22, of Hamilton Pl. in Roselle Park was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Hughes and charged with stalking. He was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

March 8: Robert Staufenberg, 23, of Bryn Mawr Ave. in Lavallette was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Hughes, and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer by allegedly using his vehicle to hit a police officer, obstructing the administration of law, disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was held on $52,500 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Shawn Sharkey, 19, of Seneca Dr. in Middletown was arrested by Sgt. Paul Bailey and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Peter Milnes, 18, of Bayberry Lane in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kyle Engelken, 18, of Heather Lane in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brian Brittain, 28, of Ideal Ave. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Raymond Sofield and charged with obstructing the administration of law.

March 9: Patrick O’Connell, 20, of Tramp Hollow Rd. in Middletown was arrested by Sgt. Paul Bailey and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Scott Simonson, 20, of Fowler Court in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Hughes and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Gregory Tognan, 21, of Wallace St. in Red Bank was arrested by Sgt. Paul Bailey and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Demetrius Pabers, 39, of Waackaack Ave. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. Raymond Sofield and charged with DWI.

Sgt. Paul Bailey arrested a 17 year-old male juvenile from Middletown and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 10: Ptl. Kent Thornton arrested a 17 year old female juvenile from Lincroft and charged her with possession of alcohol by a minor.

Ptl. Donald Coates arrested a 16 year-old female juvenile from Middletown and charged her with possession of alcohol by a minor.

Robert Rodriguez, 36, of Oak St. in Perth Amboy was arrested by Ptl. Stephen Keller and charged with obstructing the administration of law and hindering apprehension. He was held on $7,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.
