A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict three area residents on the burglary and theft of three Middletown homes.
Kenneth J. Dellapierto, 24, of Port Monmouth, Brittany T. Stewart, 21, of Hazlet, and Matthew H. Bruncati, 24, of Middletown, were indicted on their alleged roles in the burglary of three homes, theft of goods valued over $500 from each home and receiving stolen goods.
According to the indictment, Dellapierto and Stweart allegedly entered each of the three homes and took jewelry and money.
Bruncati was indicted on one charge of theft for allegedly receiving jewelry that belonged to the residents of the burglarized homes. The indictment further explains that Bruncati either knew or believed that the jewelry he received was probably stolen.
The alleged burglaries occurred on Jan. 26, Feb. 10, and Feb. 21.
