Two Local Men Indicted on Heroin Possession Charges

A Middletown and Keansburg man will respond to formal charges of drug possession in Neptune last summer.

Two local men have been indicted by a grand jury in Freehold for possession of heroin.

Sean M. Dickey, 40, of Daniel Drive in Middletown and Michael F. Durnin, 43, of Port Monmouth Road in Keansburg will be required to respond to charges they were in possession of the illegal drug on July 22, 2012 in Neptune. 

The Jan. 16 indictment is a formal charge, not a finding of guilt.

Possession of a controlled dangerious substance is a third degree crime. If convicted, a defendant may face a 3-5 year prison term for a third degree crime.
