Access: Middletown Has Redesigned Township Site

While urging residents at the Township Committee meeting on Monday, April 4, to take time between now and the May 2 public hearing to study and seek input on the , Deputy Mayor Pamela Brightbill pointed to the redesigned township Web site as the perfect resource.

"We will have professionals here [on May 2] to answer questions," she said. "But reach out to us."

The new Web site, she said, is the perfect way to do that. The new redesign is not only more user-friendly, but makes it easier for people to link to specific officials on certain issues and get to the appropriate ones easier and more immediately, she explained. 

Designed to "enhance transparency," according to Mayor Anthony Fiore in a posted statement, the site should also "make it easier to communicate with us and easier to find the information you need quickly."

The site features not only better access to official contacts, but easier navigation by "popular subject" and links to related content. Forms and documents for download are all now centralized, as well.

"It's been a long process to get to this point," Brightbill added, reminding residents that the entire budget presentation will be on the site and they are encouraged to look, study and question. Click here to get to the Web site.
