A message from Middletown Township
The state Department of Transportation is expected to begin work sometime during the week of May 19 on the much-needed dredging of the State Marina in Leonardo.
The initial steps include clearing and grading a portion of the state-owned property between the marina and NWS Earle. This area will be used to store and dry the dredged materials. The storage area will be fenced and enclosed in an earthen dike.
The Township will provide more information about the timing and duration of project as it is received from the state.
