Middletown Free Cat Rabies Clinic

The Middletown Township Health Department and Animal Control will be holding a free cat rabies clinic from 9 until 11 a.m. at the Kings Hwy/Penelope Lane overflow parking lot.

All cats must be in an appropriate carrier.

Cat licenses will be available for purchase at this time. All cats in Middletown must be licensed. The licenses run from September through August. The fee is $20.00, except if proof is provided that the animal was spayed/neutered, the fee will only be $15.00.  Any license renewed after September 30, 2011 will incur a monthly progressive late fee.

The application for new cats can be found on the Township website www.middletownnj.org  Look under forms and resources for the Health Department. Cat renewal applications will be sent out in the mail in mid-August.

Only put one cat in each carrier, as multiple cats in a confined space creates an unsafe situation for the animals and personnel.  Do not carry the cats loose in your arms, as many animals have run away or become agitated with all the activity happening around them.
