The Highland Bridge will be renamed today in honor of Captain Joseph Azzolina.
On Wednesday, May 23 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. residents are invited to watch as Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, Congressman Frank Pallone, Senator Joseph Kyrillos, Senator Jennifer Beck and Joseph Azzolina, Jr. make remarks and unveil the new bridge signage.
Attendees can gather at the WWI Memorial located at the intersection of Highland Ave. and Portland Rd. in the Highlands by the foot of the bridge. Parking will be available behind ‘Off the Hook’ Restaurant, 1 Navesink Ave. Highlands, NJ.
