Family of Christie Town Hall Tot Getting Sandy Grant

Nicole Mariano's family is now on track to get money for Sandy repairs, Chasing NJ reports.

Gov. Chris Christie may have been the headliner during his town hall event in Middletown last month, but 3-year-old Nicole Mariano stole the show.

Mariano's family has been living in a trailer after their Leonardo home was damaged in Superstorm Sandy. The little girl's plea to the governor got results, according to a recent Chasing NJ report.

"May you fix my house? It's still broken," Mariano asked Christie.

The family is scheduled to sign a grant Friday to fix their home, according to the report.
