Expect Traffic Delays For Rt. 520 Roundabout Construction Work

The traffic circle in front of Brookdale Community College is undergoing construction.

There were traffic delays on Newman Springs Road (Route 520) Wednesday, caused by a construction project currently underway to improve the roundabout at the entrance to Brookdale Community College and the Lincroft Bible Church.

The two-part project is to replace the roundabout’s existing concrete curb and precast pavers. The second part will involve the milling, resurfacing and marking of the pavement.

Traffic will flow through alternating lanes between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Thursday, July 17. Contractor Precise Construction is working on curb and pavers. Truck traffic will be detoured.
