Friday Night Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt At Poricy Park

A twist on the annual tradition for both kids and their parents.

Love an Easter egg hunt?  How about an Easter egg hunt in the dark! 

Middletown Recreation is inviting kids and their parents who love a new challenge to come to Poricy Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 11 to hunt for Easter eggs at dusk. Organizers advise hunters to bring a flashlight, basket and wear running shoes. 

A shuttle will be available from Fairview Acres.  

Participants will be assembled by age starting at 6:30 pm sharp.

6:30-6:45 pm:  Age assembly – please be on time!
7:00 pm:  Parent-Child Hunt for children ages 2 and under
7:00 pm:  Children ages 7-8 – no parents
7:15 pm:  Children ages 3-4 – no parents
7:30 pm:  Children ages 5-6 – no parents
7:30 pm:  Children ages 9-10 – no parents
7:45 pm:  Parents

The township's annual Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church St, Middletown. It is sponsored by the Middletown Township Education Association. 

There will be goodie bags for the first 500 kids, photos with the Easter Bunny, Doodle Dude, a Miss Sherri performance in the theater, strolling entertainment, a petting zoo, arts and crafts projects, an egg decorating contest and more
