Henry Hudson Trail Section Expected to Reopen Despite Legal Threats by Max Weinberg, Judge

Trail was damaged between Atlantic Highlands and Highlands during Superstorm Sandy.

A portion of the Henry Hudson trail between Atlantic Highlands and Highlands is expected to reopen in December, according to an APP.com report.

The trail was closed since Superstorm Sandy damaged the section of trail last year.

Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg and Atlantic Highlands Municipal Judge Peter Locascio have threatened legal action against Monmouth County, alleging work on the trail caused erosion that could impact their homes above the trail, according to APP.com

No lawsuits were officially filed and work began on the trail section in October, the report said.
