If you need some critical home repairs, the time is right to seek finacial help in getting them done.

If you are a Middletown homeowner, you may be eligible for home rehabilitation grant assistance through Middletown’s Community Development Program. Representatives of the township's Community Development Department will be on hand today at 2 p.m. at the Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, hosting an informational session on the program and its eligibility requirements.

The grants, of up to $25,000 for qualifying households, are targeted to prioritize rehab for critical home repairs, such as any code violation abatements and/or roofs, electrical, heating and plumbing problems. They are funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
