Planning Board To Give Reasons for Trinity Hall Denial in Resolution Wednesday

Also, the board will consider applications for a small subdivision, a car dealership and massage business.


The Middletown Planning Board is scheduled to pass the official resolution denying the Trinity Hall High School application for a campus on Chapel Hill Road at its meeting Wednesday night. 

The reasons for the denial will be outlined in the resolution, according to Board Attorney Jim Gorman. 

Also on the agenda, but not guaranteed to come before the board: 

An application for final major subdivision approval for seven building lots at 911 Middletown-Lincroft Road (near the Dwight/Nut Swamp Rd. intersection.) Preliminary Major Subdivision approval was granted in 2009. Applicant is Cuozzo, Carnegie Manor. 

Under new business, an applicant is seeking major site plan approval to convert 171 Route 36 (near the Thompson Ave. intersection) from residential use to a car dealership. Waivers are sought. Applicant is Elbanna & Mason.

Also, an applicant is seeking a conditional use permit and waiver of minor site plan to occupy 2 Woodland Drive (near Outback Steakhouse) as a massage business. Applicant is Mei Marino.
