The agenda at tonight's Planning Board meeting includes continuation of the proposed townhouse development on wooded land at Taylor Lane, off Route 35 across from Target.
American Properties at Middletown is seeking preliminary and final major subdivision and site plan approval to construct 196 townhomes and 49 affordable units, along with a 3,600 square foot clubhouse and a pool. Residents of the adjacent neighborhood have retained their own lawyer and have attended meetings to voice opposition.
An application for another development off Route 36 has been moved to the December meeting. Atlantic Pier is seeking major site plan approval for 40 residential apartments in two buildings.
The Planning Board meets at Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.
