Average Home Sale Prices Increased 55% in Atlantic Highlands, Realtor Says

The number of home listings also reportedly increased.

Home prices may continue to increase in Atlantic Highlands, according to realtor and Patch blogger Len Dunikoski.

In comparing the first seven months of 2013 to the first seven months of 2012, Dunikoski found that the number of home sales decreased three percent, the number of listings increased six percent and the average sale price increased by 55 percent.

A fourth and more telling statistic, according to Dunikoski, is that the absorption rate decreased from an average of 10.2 months in 2012 to 7.4 months in 2013. This measurement of demand versus supply, he says, indicates that home prices will continue to rise.
