Monmouth University’s Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC) was taken over yesterday with family and friends of 373 seniors and 380 seniors.

With hundreds of students receiving their diploma’s yesterday we know at least a few proud family members and friends were playing paparazzi.

As the newly graduated seniors of 2012 prepare for the next step in life, Patch is inviting you to share your memories and words of encouragement on Middletown Patch. If you were one of the many capturing moments in time yesterday, simply upload your memories by clicking on the “upload photos and video button” above.

Was your graduate camera shy yesterday? Well there is another way to congratulate them by posting a free graduation announcement on Middletown Patch! To post a free announcement, click here. In the category drop down box, select "graduation." Enter the graduate's name, school and any other details you'd like to share.

Directly below the "description" box, you'll see an "Upload photos and videos" button. If you'd like your announcement featured on the Middletown Patch home page, be sure to add a photo or video. Only announcements with photos or video will be featured on the home page.

After you have filled in the information about your graduate and added a photo, look for the "Post My Announcement" button at the bottom of the page. Additional information about posting your graduation announcement can be found by following the directions .

Oh, I am so glad to see that you are preserving history. My husband & I visited your town aRead More couple of weeks ago. My 9th Great Grandfather Thomas Whitlock is buried in the Old First Baptist Church yard. I was honored to stand on the porch of the home he helped build and lived in at Shoal Harbor. The name has changed to the Wilson-Seabrook House and now the Bayshore Activities Center. Wow! Too bad all the museum pieces were removed. I would love to have seen them.
