Under the direction of Music Director Michael Raguseo, the district was well represented at Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade with the South marching band, color guard, and cheerleaders entertaining the crowds up New York City's Fifth Avenue.

The Screaming Eagle Marching Band, led by drum majors Billy Belke, Samantha Peterson, and Michael DeSocio, played “The Thunderer” and “The Galway Piper,” accompanied by the color guard and cheerleaders waving green flags and pom poms.

“We were proud to represent the Middletown school district in this great New York City parade,” said Raguseo. “We had a great time and the kids did a fabulous job. My thanks go to all of the parent volunteers who helped make it a memorable day.”
