Government Meetings and Greetings

 The Middletown Township Committee will meet on August 6 at 8 p.m. for their regularly scheduled workshop. The meeting will be held in the main meeting room of the . To see what will be discussed at this meeting, click here.

The Middletown Landmark Commission will meet Thursday, August 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Middletown Township Public Library. For more information call 732-615-2015.

The Middletown Sewerage Authority will meet 7:30 p.m. at Thursday, August 9 in the administrative office of the Sewer Authority, located off Center Avenue. The Middletown Sewerage Authority Board of Trustees oversees the township’s centralized wastewater collection system and treatment plant, located in Belford.

Navesink Fireman’s Fair

 The 124th Annual Fireman's Fair of the Navesink Hook & Ladder Fire Co. #1, Middletown Township Fire Department, will begin Thursday, August 9 beginning at 6 p.m. and run through August 11 at the Navesink Fire House - 141 Monmouth Ave in the Navesink Section of Middletown. Stands include the Nickle Pitch, the Ring Toss, Sand Art, and a variety of games for very young children. The two rides available are the Navesink Cannonball train and the Fire Truck Ride. Music In and Around Town

Motor City Review will perform a R&B routine during the Sandy Hook Foundation’s weekly Wednesday concert series at Area E in . The August 1 concert begins at 6 p.m. and admission is free. Beach wheelchairs are also available on a first come first serve basis.  Weather cancellations made at 2 p.m. day of the show. For more information call (732) 291-7733.

The Funktion 11 will perform August 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Croydon Hall as part of Middletown’s Summer Concert series. The Middletown Summer Concert Series is every other Thursday. The concert is free. The Middletown Township Education Association (MTEA) and the Middletown Arts Center sponsor the performances. In the event of inclement weather, concerts are moved indoors to the Croydon Hall Gym.
