Senior Outing

Senior can celebrate all of this month's birthdays in a party Thursday, August 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the . Light refreshments will be served. Participants are asked to bring a baby picture to share in the Guessing Game. Middletown's Senior Center welcomes Middletown residents age 60 and older to become members. A variety of special events, trips and weekly activities, are offered every month. Transportation is available to registered members by reservation. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Events are held in the East Wing unless otherwise noted. Call (732) 615-2265 for more information. 

For The Kids

Sensei Jason of Tiger Schulmann of Middletown, will teach defense tactics and strategies in dealing with bullies in this once a week month-long program at the . In its third week, the program begins at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, August 17. Participants are advised to dress comfortably though it will be a non-contact program. Parental waiver needs to be signed. Registration is required as space is limited to 25 participants.

Children and teens ages 8 through 12 can try their hand at archery during an open shoot at the Activity Barn, Lincroft.
