Township Committee, Board of Education Meet Monday

Both regular meetings begin at 8 p.m.

Mark those calendars—below are programs, meetings and events you don't want to miss in Middletown this week:

Monday, Dec. 16

Members of Middletown’s Township Committee will gather at town hall for an 8 p.m. regular meeting.

Also at 8 p.m., Middletown’s Board of Education will hold a regular voting meeting in High School North’s library.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

Rock’n Music Academy students will perform at the Middletown Arts Center from 7 to 9 p.m. to raise money for Meridian Neuroscience. Call 732-933-7625 for ticket information.

Several holiday programs are scheduled at Middletown schools: Bayshore has performances at 6 and 7:30 p.m., and Thompson and Thorne students take to the stage at 7 p.m. at their respective schools.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

A special meeting of Middletown’s Planning Board will begin at 6:30 p.m. in town hall so testimony in the Taylor Lane townhome complex application can continue.

Middletown’s Library Board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the community room.

Thursday, Dec. 19

Teens are invited to make gingerbread houses at the Middletown library. Register for the program here.

Friday, Dec. 20

The Club MAC Christmas Party for ages 5 and up kicks off at 6 p.m. More information, including registration details, is available here .
