Free 'Putnam County Spelling Bee' Play Preview This Weekend

Plus, Saturday yoga resumes at Poricy Park

Catch a preview of Middletown High School North’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” this weekend at the township’s library.

The school’s Theatre Ensemble will present selections from the play during the free event on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m., according to the library. No registration is required.

Then, catch the full play on Jan. 23 and 24 in the High School North auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door.

“This is the first time the class will be producing a full main stage production run solely by the students in the class,” the library said on its website.

Also this weekend, yoga resumes at the Poricy Park on Saturday. The program costs $12 for members and $15 for non-members.
