My husband and I have eaten more meals here, both from the menu and buffet, than we can count. The people who work here are lovely and helpful, the food is first-rate, and I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! We lived in London for years, have a lot of Indian friends, and we know a great deal about Indian food. This restaurant meets our high standards in every way! ( The special meals for two in the menu are a wonderful, delicious value! )

Absolutely loved it! If you go ask for the chicken tikka masala, one of the best entrees i've ever had in my life. Service was awesome, family run place they were really friendly and helpful.

The service and quality of food at Neelam is very good. My wife and I tend to
stay away from buffets, so most of our experience is from ordering from the menu, and often times we get takeout. My biggest problem is that they don't seem to know how to manage the heat (spice) in their food. If you ask for medium, we can barely feel the heat, but if we order spicy, it's often too spicy.

Growing up in Middletown, our options for Indian food were extremely limited. This was it. Luckily, it was great. The flavors of dishes like Tandoori Chicken and Tikka Masala were tastes I had never tasted before. While I have since enjoyed some of the best Indian food in NJ, such as Moghul in Edison and Palace of Asia in Lawrenceville, Neelam still holds a place in my heart.
