Was attempting to buy a Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher for delivery before a specific date, although they promised "no problem" they failed and then were unapologetic and extremely unhelpful. I had no choice but to cancel the order. I would never deal with them again, they cannot be trusted.

I went after Hurricane Sandy to get a freezer to replace one damaged in the storm. In looking around I decided to replace our stove.
The LG stove had a tag of $1499.00 & the freezer $599.00. They gave me a 'deal' of $1249.00 + an additional rebate of $149 on the stove but no discount on the freezer. I also had to buy a new gas line for $49
When I checked online at LG -the very same stove was on sale locally (Sears, etc) for $997.00.
I called the store immediately, but was told that the discount & reabte 'almost' made it the same price -so what was the problem?
To me, the problem was not being told the truth in the first place. Don't show me a stove with a tag of $1499 then act like you're doing me a favor by taking off a bit and adding a rebate -when they knew it was on sale for $997 everyplace else.
The manager did call us back and offered a small discount, but we don't do business this way. I will not buy from a place who lies to me. I cancelled the order & purchased the appliances from 2 other stores.
I tried to shop a local business, but felt ripped off & lied to. I'll never go back to Thornberry's again.
