The "argument" was not about replacing the bridge, but the "trafficRead More implications" of doing so. During the period of time when the bridge is closed, the traffic will need to be re-routed to Hubbard which is where the elementary school is located. This has a lot of people concerned as traffic in front of the school is already a nightmare!

Nearly $22 million dollars? How will construction of the new bridge alleviate traffic in the area?Read More Oh wait. It won't. Now we can sit in traffic on our shiny new $22 million bridge. Yay!

Marguerite that's my point. She wanted them to take out the old bridge then build the new bridge .Read More Which would force all traffic down Hubbard ave past the the school . The county plan is to build the new one while the old one is still in use . Delays may occur but not as bad as it would be if they did it her way
