Arresting Update: Juveniles Charged

The following information was obtained directly from Middletown Township Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

Middletown police arrested the following juveniles recently on various charges: • A 17-year-old male from Middletown was arrested on Jan. 1 by Cpl. James Keenan and charged with obstructing an investigation and simple assault. He was released pending a court date. • A 17-year-old male from Atlantic Highlands was arrested on Dec. 31 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released pending a court date. • A 16-year-old male from the Navesink section was arrested on Dec. 31 by Cpl. Patricia Colangelo and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released pending a court date. • A 15-…

Middletown Arresting Update: Drug Charges

The following information was obtained directly from Middletown Township Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

Middletown police recently arrested the following people on drug possession and distribution charges: • Jillian Kochon, 24, of West Highland Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Nov.  12 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein and charged with unlawful possession of Oxycodone and Xanax and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released pending a court date. • Anthony Verange, 28, of Prospect Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Nov. 12 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte and charged with unlawful possession of Xanax and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released pending a court date. • Derren Bonaventura, 23, of Francis Place, Hazlet, was arrested on Nov. 11 by Patrolman …

The following information was obtained directly from Middletown Township Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

Middletown police arrested the following people recently on various charges: • Taryn Ellis, 20, of Waterwitch Avenue, Highlands, was arrested on Nov. 3 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and Patrolman Stephen Greenwood, of the Quality of Life Unit, and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a fake driver’s license and conspiracy. She was held on $10,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson. • Mark Kraft, 25, of Aztec Court, Edison, was arrested on Nov. 3 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and Patrolman Richard Fulham, of the Quality of Life Unit, and charged with uttering a forgery, receiving stolen property and conspiracy. Police make several arrests for: marijuana, prescription drug possession, DWI, criminal mischief

Police made several arrests within four days on charges of: possession of quantities of marijuana over and under 50 grams, intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances, drug paraphernalia possession, driving while intoxicated, unauthorized prescription drug possession, criminal mischief ... On April 3 at 2:15 p.m., Patrolman Keith Hirschbein was on patrol in the area of Leonardville Road when he stopped a vehicle being operated with numerous view obstructions. Upon approaching the driver, identified as William Hoffman, 27, Gillespie Avenue, Fair Haven, the officer detected what he identified as the strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. On the Beat with Middletown Police: Arresting March 14-16 Developments

Prior to St. Patrick's Day flurry of police activity, arrests for drugs, arson and car burglaries

In the three days prior to St. Patrick’s Day, Middletown police had a major drug bust, an arson and  juvenile car burglaries … On March 16, at 3:00 p.m., Patrolman Adam Vendetti and Patrolman Albert Scott responded to a residence on Harmony Road in reference to a report of a subject who had allegedly set the residence on fire. Upon arrival the officers found smoke coming from the residence and a fire in a bedroom. The investigation conducted by the officers, along with Middletown Police Detective Peter White and members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the Middletown Fire Marshall’s Office, and the Monmouth County Fire Marshall’s Office, determined that the resident, Christopher Bossick, 31, had purposely set the house on fire …
