Middletown NJ Police Blotter Jan. 25-28; Man Allegedly Tries to Flush Marijuana Down the Toilet
Arrests for drug possession, sexual assault and resisting arrest.
Jan. 25: Jesse Ballard, 21, from Birchwood Lane in Middletown was arrested for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and obstructing a police investigation by allegedly flushing it down the toilet. He was held on $7,500 bail set by Judge Thomas Scully of the Monmouth County Superior Court. Ballard’s arrest came after a four-month investigation into the alleged sale of illegal narcotics from the residence by the Middletown Police Det. Bureau and Quality of Life Units. The investigation was conducted after police obtained a search warrant for the residence, and was lead by Det. Kevin Gardiner, and Officers Richard Fulham and Raymond Sofield of the Quality of Life Unit. Jan 24…
