The car came to a stop near the following intersection at Euclid Avenue.
A car came to rest on the Route 36 guardrail near the border of Hazlet, Keansburg and Middletown after an accident at about 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to Bob Pfleger, the public information officer for the Middletown EMS. The car was traveling eastbound on the highway through the intersection of Palmer Avenue when it struck another vehicle, Pfleger explained. The May 19, 2012 stabbing resulted in the death of Santiago Rodriquez.
A Monmouth County grand jury voted Wednesday to indict a Union Beach man on a first degree murder charge. Police say Marco Perez-Nery, 21, fatally stabbed Santiago Rodriquez with a six-inch fixed blade knife in Keansburg on May 19, 2012. Perez-Nery was indicted on three charges, including first degree murder, fourth degree unlawful possession of a weapon and third degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that a grand jury found there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.

Dennis, 57, had difficulty adjusting following the …

While carrying township police, firefighter and EMS credentials, former Port Monmouth Fire Company member arrested in Keansburg on drugs and weapons charges.
Almost six years after he was ejected from the Port Monmouth Fire Company, former member Robert Buckalew still hasn't returned his fireman's badge. Repeated tries by the Middletown Township Fire Department to retrieve Buckalew's badge since his ouster in 2006 have come up short according to John Isaksen, public information officer for the department that oversees fire companies in the municipality. "Several attempts to recover his Middletown Township Fire Department badge were unsuccessful," said Isaksen, who also confirmed Buckalew's status as an ex-Port Monmouth firefighter in an emailed statement on Monday. According to an Asbury Park Press article published Monday, Buckalew, 33, was carrying the fire department badge along with …
