Emergency Brush Collection Now Underway in Middletown

Bring out your bulky debris and brush -- but keep them separated. Leaf collection has also begun, and is following the regular schedule.

Townwide emergency brush collection is now underway.  Bulky debris collection will continue in flood damaged areas. At a special meeting of the Township Committee Wednesday, resolutions granting emergency contracts for storm debris removal services were approved. Jacob I believe you are right and with the evacuation yesterday I have to wonder if they see us as a somewhat hopeless cause. I recognize that those of us that still have our homes are lucky. I would hope that those that have lost their homes have warmth + access to whatever they need to get their long recovery started. However at this point those left behind are barely getting our basic needs …   more ›
