Middletown police arrested the following people recently on various charges, ranging from assault to marijuana possession: • Larry Boerner, 35, of First Street, Keyport, was arrested on May 6, by Patrolman Adam Colfer, and charged with possession of Ecstasy, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest. Following an investigation, Middletown police obtained a search warrant and ended up arresting a township man on marijuana and weapons possession charges. Michael Cignarella, 20, of Woodbridge Avenue, Middletown, was arrested on May 2, after police searched Cignarella’s home and allegedly found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a stun gun and $445 in cash “for possible forfeiture.” The search and arrest came after officers in the Middletown Detective Bureau and its Quality of Life Unit wrapped up an investigation “that lasted three weeks,” Detective Lt.
