Call 559-726-1300 and input access code 147878 to take part in the 4 p.m. hour-long Business Rebuilding Call sponsored by Monmouth's Division of Economic Development. County officials promise information will be provided about state and federal disaster relief programs, tax impact and more. Nick Maursky, 25, graduated from Rutgers University’s School of Engineering two years ago. With a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Maursky said has been working as a pharmacy technician but his search for engineering jobs has been without luck. The Monmouth County Office of Economic Development has spearheaded a new initiative to create a business-friendly environment in this region of the state. During the Board of Chosen Freeholders meeting on Thursday, Aug. 11, Administrative Department Director of Planning & Economic Development and Regulatory Affairs John Ciufo and Office of Economic and Workforce Development Director Amy Fitzgerald presented plans for the county's new campaign, which has been branded Grow Monmouth. “Grow Monmouth is a long-term, community-wide initiative to ensure the economic health of Monmouth County,” Ciufo said.
