Obituary: Robert Miller, 67, of Middletown

He was a heavy equipment operator.

Robert W. Miller, 67, of Middletown, died on March 5, 2013 in Eatontown. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Middletown for the past 40 years. Robert worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for International Union of Operating Engineers Union Local 825 of Little Falls, NJ. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Margaret Crone Miller and his son, Evan Miller both of Middletown; as well as his sister, Barbara Camp of Mays Landing. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mae Miller. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 3 to 4 pm at the John F. Obituary: Brian Clickner, 31, Lifelong Middletown Resident

Clickner was a graduate of Middletown North.

Brian T. Clickner, 31, a lifelong resident of Middletown, passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 8th. Brian graduated Middletown North and was currently working in construction with his brother. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Brian is  survived by his father and stepmother Harry Clickner and Diane Ernst, his mother and stepfather Donna and Stephan Lambert, brothers Richard and Harry, sister Holly and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Obituary: Dolly Dolahan, 84 of New Monmouth

Worked at Sears for 35 years, and was an active member of St. Mary's Church.

Dolly Dolahan, 84, of New Monmouth died on May 7, 2013 at her home. She was born in Newark at St. Michael's and grew up in Harrison. Dolly attended Holy Cross Grammar School in Harrison and St. Cecilia's in North Arlington. After she graduated from St. Cecilia's, Dolly went to work for Hane's in Newark as a model. In 1953 Dolly moved to Middletown and became an active member of St. Mary's Church. Helen worked at Sears for over 35 years. She enjoyed playing bridge and loved her cats, most recently her Blue Persian, "Mugsy". Surviving are her children, Edward, Dana, Timothy, and Carol; and her grandchildren, Daniel and Meghan. Obituary: Jack Lentz, 83, of Middletown, A Man Who Loved Cars

Lentz had an Auto Body shop in Belford. His preferred mode of transportation was a 1953 Studebaker.

  Jack Lentz, 83, a lifelong resident of Middletown, died May 4, 2013 at home. He was born on September 19, 1929 and was the only son of John and Thelma Lentz.  He graduated Middletown High School in 1948 and entered into the Auto Body business in June 1949.  In 1951, Jack served in the U.S. Army and served tours in Korea and Japan as a radio operator.  In 1954 he built his shop, Lentz Auto Body, on Main Street in Belford where he remained in business until he retired in 2010. Jack was very active in the Middletown community and served as a charter member of the Middletown Jaycees, a charter member, director and past president of the Middletown Chamber of Commerce; as well as serving on many township committees over the years.  Jack also …

Obituary: Jacqueline Andrews McMahon, 83 of Middletown

Founding member of Navesink Country Club, and board member of The Cancer Society, Children's Psychiatric Center, Monmouth County ARC and her favorite - Monmouth County SPCA.

Jacqueline Andrews McMahon, 83, of Middletown, died Monday, April 22, 2013 at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. She was born June 29, 1929 on the Jersey Isle of England; Jacque was raised in Allenhurst, New York City and Florida by her parents, Lucile Menken and George H. Andrews. Although most of her young life was spent travelling, she most cherished her time on Laneside Farm in Allenhurst riding her beloved horses. She kept her best friend and nanny Weesie very busy by doing things like getting caught in the laundry chute or riding her bike off a dock on Biscayne Bay. She gained her love of gardening and reading from Weesie but as much as Weesie tried to impart her baking skills she wasn't successful. …

Obituary: Peter Manning, 89, of Middletown

Owned the Dairy Queen in Campbell's Junction in the 1970s.

Peter Manning, 89, died peacefully on April 22, 2013 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home in Holmdel, NJ. Peter was born August 22, 1923 in Newark where he spent his youth. He joined the Army Air Force during WWII and served with the 69th Bombardier Squadron in the South Pacific as an airplane mechanic. After the war he returned to his job at Westinghouse in Hillside, where he worked until his retirement. He moved his growing family to Belford in 1956, where he was an active member of St. Mary's Parish in New Monmouth. In 1967 he purchased the Dairy Queen in Campbell's Junction with his brother-in-law and owned it through the 1970's. After his retirement he and his wife, Adele, who predeceased him in 2006, spent the winters in Lake Worth, FL …

Dublinski was a nurse's aid for Regency Park Nursing Home.

Margaret R. Dublinski, 82, of Port Monmouth, NJ, died on April 20, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 1, 1931 to Walter and Sarah Cullin in Newark, NJ.  Margaret worked as a Nurses Aid for Regency Park Nursing Home and prior nursing homes at that location for over 50 years.  She retired in 2010. She was a communicant of St Ann's R C Church Keansburg, NJ. Surviving are her sons Thomas J Moses of Port Monmouth, and Gregory Moore of Port Monmouth, NJ. and a sister Catherine Moore of Whiting, along with nieces and a nephew. De Meo was a Vietnam War veteran.

Ronald T. De Meo, 70, of Port Monmouth, NJ, died on April 19, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. Ronald worked as a programmer for Pershing, LLC in Florham Park for many years before his retirement 3 years ago. Ronald also served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Michele De Meo; his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Frank Melchiorre of Norwalk, CT; and many nieces and nephews. Albert J. Black Sr, 87, of Middletown died Thursday in Holmdel, NJ. He was born in Orange, NJ and lived in Hazlet, before moving to Middletown. Albert worked as a Associate at B&G Gulf, Holmdel for the past 28 years. Before that he owned and operated AlKay Paint and Wallpaper Hazlet, NJ., Bud Paints Plainfield, NJ.,and Carousel Paint and Wallpaper in Old Bridge, NJ. Obituary: Barbara Rice, 65, of Lincroft

Rice will be remembered at a ceremony on Friday.

Barbara Rice, 65, of Lincroft passed away on April 16, 2013 after an 8-year battle with lung cancer.  Born in Brooklyn, Barbara made her own way in the 1970s and 80s working her way to Vice President, Policy Owners Service at MetLife Security.  It was there she met her husband Craig, where they married and moved to southern California.  Barbara then focused her energies on starting a family and raising a son. She left a lasting impression on all those around her, and will be sorely missed.
