Richard Bennett, 59 of Belford, NJ passed away on February 17, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center, surrounded by his family. The thing that Richie loved most in life was being a father. He enjoyed coaching his two sons and watching them grow up and becoming the men they are today. Other than family, his passion in life since the age of 7 was raising pigeons. He won national recognition for breeding champion pigeons. Richard was predeceased by his father, Daniel Bennett and mother, Margaret Creevy-Bennett. He was the devoted husband to Lucille Bennett; beloved father to his two sons Richard Bennett Jr, and Francis Bennett and daughters-in-law, Allyson and Michelle Bennett.
