Senior Albert Martin collapsed and died while playing basketball at the high school.
A Red Bank Regional basketball player collapsed and died after being rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon. Albert Martin, 17, of Red Bank collapsed while playing basketball on Dec. 3, according to Red Bank Regional spokesperson Marianne Kligman. Little Silver Police and EMS responded to the high school gym around 4:24 p.m. and performed CPR on Martin, 17, who was taken to Riverview Medical Center where he died, according to Little Silver Police Chief Daniel Shaffery.
