Middletown's Peters Named to NJ Supreme Court Panel
Former Middletown mayor and deputy mayor appointed to advisory committee
Monmouth County Surrogate Rosemarie D. Peters — former Middletown mayor and deputy mayor — has been appointed to the Advisory Committee on Public Access to Court Records by the New Jersey Supreme Court. The court records committee is comprised of judges, court administrators and staff from the state Administrative Office of the Courts. Created in 2009, the group’s role is to provide advice to the custodians of court records, recommend policies regarding modes of dissemination of public records, and make recommendations to the Supreme Court and administrative director regarding any needed changes to New Jersey court rules on access issues.
