Salvatore Laura, 89, of Middletown, passed away Monday, January 7 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1923. Salvatore worked as an Inspector for the Department of Consumer Affairs in New York City. He was many things to many people. He was an award winning artist, a wonderful cook, a music lover. He could play any instrument beautifully despite having no music lessons. He loved photography, boating, and his model trains. Surviving are his daughter, Lorraine Laura of Middletown; his three granddaughters, Kim and her husband Eddie Santiago of Oakhurst, Kristie and her husband Joey Curiazza of Middletown, and Kortney Kane of Middletown; his great-grandson, Kole; and his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Marie Laura of …
