Police: Armed Men Rob Domino's Pizza Delivery Man With Gun, Bat

Two men, allegedly armed with a gun and a bat, approached the victim after he made a delivery, police say.

A Domino's Pizza delivery man was robbed by two men armed with a handgun and a bat early Saturday morning, according to Detective Lt. Steve Dollinger.

Middletown Police responded to Geary Drive after receiving a 911 call reporting an armed robbery at about 1:10 a.m. on June 29.

The victim told police that he finished making a delivery and was getting back into his car when he was approached by two men, one armed with a handgun and the other armed with a baseball bat.

The armed men allegedly demanded the driver's money and ordered him to drive away. They then reportedly fled on foot toward Main Street and got into an unknown type of vehicle. The amount of money stolen has not been disclosed.

The victim described the subject with a gun as a black male, but was unable to provide further details or a description of the second man. Both were wearing ski masks, according to Dollinger.

The driver was not injured during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Middletown Police Department at 732-615-2100.
